One question I get very often is what order to remodel your kitchen. Every contractor has a different opinion! I’ve done several being first, before countertop and backsplash, and I’ve done just as many coming after countertop and backsplash! Many are of the opinion that cabinets should always come last, but that can‘t always happen, and that’s ok! If I go first I always let customers know that I am available to come back for touch ups. Really, the contractors who go after me have always been so careful I don’t think I’ve ever had to go back. Going last, I don’t have to worry about anything except protecting the new countertop and backsplash! Another plus, I get to take pretty pictures afterward! Sometimes you are at the mercy of the contractor’s timeline. You have to schedule when they can. If that means cabinets come first, great. If that means cabinets are last, great also!!
